Avicide
Made for season 9 of PGMA.
You find yourself in an ancient ruin that, for some reason, has ONE BUTTON in every room. Is this because of some external requirement unbeknownst to you? Probably not. You have to explore to find the button in each room.
Default controls:
Movement: WASD
Jumping: Space
Menu Select: Enter
Dev notes:
This was, of course, made in 2 weeks for round 1 of the PGMA contest. I wasn't planning on joining the contest initially, but a friend convinced me to join anyway. Most of what's in this game is stuff I was planning to make regardless of whether I joined. The CRT shader, the water and vine physics, the smoke simulation, and even the lighting were all things I had done before; I had just never compiled them into a finished game before, which ended up being my goal going into development. Most of my time was spent on backend work, with the actual content part happening within the last couple of days leading up to submission.

looks absolutely incredible. i love the interconnectedness and multiroom shenanigans. my only thing is that the lack of sound effects kind of works against the ambiance that the visuals work so hard to create. overall though, this is nuts.
ty! Your entry was definitely pretty impressive too! I actually had all the sounds in the files, but I forgot to add them in lol thanks for letting me know
wow. visually its a banger. simple gameplay too. insane redfox vibes.
tyty!
The instructions say jumping is space, but for me it was J for some reason. Cool game otherwise though. I like the art style.
ty! I just fixed it
